Ornstein, Kuryak cover coasts for TLC

TLC has named a VP for each coast: The net has upped Alon Ornstein to VP of production and development for the East Coast, based in parent company Discovery Communications' Silver Spring, Md. HQ. Simultaneously, former OWN exec Timothy Kuryak has been moved to the net, where he will be VP of production and development for the West Coast, based in L.A. and reporting to Howard Lee (as will Ornstein). Ornstein has worked on shows at TLC including "19 Kids and Counting," "Dr. G.: Medical Examiner" and "Hoarding: Buried Alive," among others. At OWN, Kuryak oversaw "Searching For...," "Enough Already! With Peter Walsh" and other shows, and served as head of West Coast p&d during the launch of Planet Green.
